Everyone should have a personal passion in their life and  somehow, I managed to have several!  Music has always been very important to me and in 1978, I joined Sweet Adelines International and started a life long love affair with 4 part harmony barbershop style.  Forty plus years later I am still in love!  I've always had a passion for animals, in 1979 I saw my first Himalayan and that started my love for showing cats. I bred and exhibited Persian, Himalayan, Siamese, Oriental Shorthair, and Bengal cats for 35 years and I was an approved allbreed judge for TICA, The International Cat Association, for 22 years. 

 

Sometimes life takes unexpected turns...in 2010 I found myself at one of those crossroads and completely smitten with a curly white dog named Zeke...and as they say the rest is history.  I decided that Zeke needed a "friend" and started looking for another Bichon.  If I was going to get another dog, why not get a show dog...it seemed like a natural progression, right?

That decision opened up a whole new world.  I got my first show dog, AM/CN CH Legend's Charlie's Angel, aka "Charlotte" from Erayna Beckman, Legend Bichons.  There was and still is so much to learn and Erayna has been a wonderful mentor and cherished friend.  

 

I am an AKC Breeder of Merit and a member of The Bichon Frise Club of America where I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors.  Although still relatively new to the dog world, my extensive background in cats has given me a head start into my new passion.  I am a hobby breeder and occasionally have puppies.  I work to produce puppies that meet the AKC breed standard for the Bichon Frise. I breed for health, temperament and type.  All of my puppies are born and raised in my home.  I strive to provide my puppies with a nurturing environment, socialization, and intellectual stimulation.  My dogs have consistently performed well in the conformation ring and as devoted companions.
